Our Director Marie Oldfield has been invited to supervise MSc Students from the University of Southampton on their final dissertation.
Marie is pleased to be able to give back to the community and states “advising students on their final MSc dissertation from an industry point of view really does create a better joined up ecosystem between industry and academia, this is essential for industry to get the skilled professionals it needs for the future”.
Marie has an upcoming journal article in the Journal for Humanistic Mathematics (August) that discusses the UK Education system and the lack of a joined up approach between industry and academia.
