From entry level to thought leader
We provide training for learners at all stages—from beginners to seasoned professionals—in the theory and practice of developing, validating, and deploying robust, ethical, and safe AI systems.
Our AI courses are also available through FractAI. We currently deliver a wide range of AI training programmes to diverse clients across multiple sectors.
In addition, we offer statistical training courses for all levels, from introductory to advanced, supporting anyone who needs to perform data analysis in any context.
AI Training
Basic and Entry Level
The basic course offers citizen literacy. Delegates on this course need not have any knowledge of AI.
Oldfield Consultancy offers the entry level RTechAI training course which admits delegates to the AI register and enables them to use post-nominals registered at FractAI on successful completion of the competencies paperwork. This is aimed at those with a limited level of experience in AI.

This intensive programme prepares participants for the EPAI professional accreditation. Through structured teaching, mentoring, and guided application support, learners gain a clear understanding of required competencies and standards. The course blends practical instruction with expert guidance to help participants confidently complete their accreditation submission and advance their professional AI practice.

This advanced programme supports participants pursuing the RPAI professional accreditation. The course deepens understanding of responsible AI practice, required competencies, and professional standards. Through expert-led teaching and tailored mentoring, learners refine their skills and complete their accreditation submission with confidence, strengthening their capability to deliver accountable and trustworthy AI solutions.

This advanced programme is designed for professionals holding the APAI accreditation. It strengthens high-level expertise in artificial intelligence, focusing on enhancing the skills, reflective practice, and practical application. Learners receive targeted guidance to deepen capability, refine judgement, and maintain excellence as senior AI practitioners operating at the highest professional standard.

This beginner-friendly course introduces participants to artificial intelligence and machine learning, explaining how systems are built, assessed and used responsibly. Delivered in a non-technical format with discussions and case studies, it covers core concepts, risks, ethical considerations and practical examples to help learners confidently understand and navigate today’s AI-driven world.
This course explores the core components of modern AI systems, including mathematical optimisation, large language models, generative techniques, agentic AI and MLOps. Building on foundational concepts, it helps participants understand how advanced AI methods work in practice and how they are applied across real-world systems, models and development pipelines. CASE STUDY
Ministry of Defence
Oldfield Consultancy has provided support to Senior Military Level training for a number of years.
We provide insight, analytical and operational support for the Higher Staff Course and Advanced Staff Course. Attendees here are typically Senior Civil Service or Senior Military. From analysis to wargames to contextual support we take groups through the problems that might face them in years to come. We start from first principles and explore every angle of the problem, whether political, societal or military focused. We then work through many disparate courses of action, with a few curveballs thrown in.
We develop the attendee’s problem solving, critical thinking and reactionary capabilities. We Red Team in order to scope out alternative reactions and courses of action which might be a little out of the ordinary.
By using extremely complex problems and building the training piece by piece we are able to develop future leaders over a number of weeks to be able to not only improve leadership capabilities but improve team work and cross functional collaboration.
This can be done on a one-to-one and group training level.

Ministry of Defence
Oldfield Consultancy provides expert training in analysis, ethical modelling and implementation of the AQuA Book.
We have been training in this area for a number of years and provide intensive or longer term training for staff.
We work cross Government and have been employed by such departments as the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Justice and Home Office. We also train within industry and academia.
